One of the main duties of the Geological Survey of Finland (GTK) is to promote mineral exploration and mining in Finland. The GTK is responsible for national mapping and geoscience information related to bedrock and Quaternary geology, geophysics, geochemistry and mineral occurrences. The data are available in digital form, or as maps, reports and publications.
